We stick together and are there for each other.
Solidarity has always been a top priority in Hamburg. So many wonderful people live in our city who have already shown in numerous difficult situations that we Hamburgers are there for each other and stick together.
The willingness of Hamburgers to help is also evident in the current situation: Many thanks to all everyday heroes out there who are currently doing their best for us and keeping the system running: the people in hospitals, in care facilities, in waste disposal, in parcel shipping, in emergency childcare, etc.
But there's more to it than that. Who or what keeps you going?
Many of us are currently spending a lot of time at home, whether alone, with a partner or with family. Who finds the right words when you're feeling down? Who encourages you when financial losses are threatening? Who dries your tears? Who puts a smile on your face when your family drives you to the brink of a nervous breakdown? Who takes care of you? Who brings color and joy into your everyday life?
We Hamburg food startups have joined forces and are showing solidarity in the current situation. As a small contribution, we have put together care packages with products for the soul that you can win for your special person.
So if you want to make someone happy who is particularly there for you during this time - be it your best friend, your sister or brother, neighbors, colleagues, bosses or grandparents - then join in and give your hero a virtual hug.
It's important to stick together right now. No one is alone in this crisis. We are all in this together and can only overcome it together. Let's continue to be there for each other, to support each other: Give a virtual hug in the form of a care package, for the person who is close to your heart.
