We craved something new: Who hasn't felt that way? Every now and then, you just need a culinary change of scenery. That's why, in addition to our (still fantastic!) classics, we wanted to bring something exciting and unusual to the market.
How the journey began
It all started in 2022 during the hot, beautiful summer. We spent a lot of time with friends, and snacks were a must on lively evenings in the park. Our minds were relaxed, we got creative, and that was the birth of a new crispy project. First, we asked ourselves: What food makes our hearts beat faster and our mouths water? Since most of the team eats a purely plant-based diet, we definitely wanted to develop a vegan taste sensation that the world had never seen before. Smoky-spicy flavors are the key here. There are many natural, plant-based umami sources that truly invite experimentation.
The Flavor Journey
From that point, we initially explored several directions, many ideas were thrown around, most of them discarded. The keyword "Vegan Bacon" stuck with us. The mere thought of it was irresistible. How was it possible that there were no Vegan Bacon chips on the market yet? The plan was forged: it was time to change that and create an absolute pioneer in the snack universe. After several rounds of testing, we could proudly state: combined with our crunchy cassava chips, our Vegan Bacon flavor is a dream come true. You can't get more addictive than that!
And variety number two? Well, there was another flavor that we, as a team, could never get enough of: truffle. True fans know that this exclusive mushroom has recently made its way beyond the pasta plate and now enhances several dishes and snacks with its unmistakable taste. Despite its intense inherent flavor, the base of such creations largely determines what the whole thing ultimately tastes like. Since we can call ourselves experts in plantain chips, we declare plantain and truffle flavor a perfect match.

Full flavor and zero animal cruelty. A guiding principle of our products is animal-free production and ingredient list - and that, of course, also applies to our new ones! A lot of know-how goes into the authentic flavor profiles. The spice development, with the expertise of an experienced chef, thus convinces with only a few, plant-based ingredients.
