Frequently asked questions

How hot are the Chili Lime chips?
Pleasantly spicy, not burning — the fresh lime note leads the way.

Are the chips vegan and gluten-free?
Yes, both — like every el origen product. And palm-oil-free: we fry in organic high-oleic sunflower oil.

What does direct trade mean?
We work directly with smallholder cooperatives in the country of origin — no middlemen, so as much value as possible stays where the fruit grows.

ready for the crunch revolution?

Banana chips — but savoury! Plantains may look like their sweet siblings, but they are Latin America’s salty snack classic. We slice them thinly and fry them extra crispy. Turn your snack moment into a Latin party — the perfect crunch for every occasion!

Here with chili and lime: fresh at first, then pleasantly spicy.
